"A mon seul désir" is the major piece of the "Lady with Unicorn" series composed of six tapestries each representing the five senses: taste, smell, touch, sight and hearing.
This tapestry would embody the sixth sense, that of the heart.
It depicts a young woman of high society with her next one, they are surrounded by a unicorn and a lion on a red background with a thousand flowers and animals.
A masterpiece of the early French Renaissance, it is kept at the National Middle Age-Thermes Museum and Cluny hostel in Paris.
It is woven in wool, wool and silk or silk, lined with an unbleached cotton canvas with a hanging slide and provided with its "TISSAGE ART DE LYS" certificate.
All our tapestries are designed, woven and manufactured in our workshops in the North of France according to the know-how of tapestry, on a traditional Jacquard loom with more than 14,000 threads!
